A B2B data provider (also called a B2B data vendor or B2B database provider) sells you what you need to reach a buyer: work emails, mobile numbers, job titles and company facts.
Most of the 15 tools below cover those basics. What separates them is usually one feature, and how they charge for it. So each entry covers what we like, where it could be better, what it costs (misses included) and when to skip it.
One disclosure. FullEnrich is our product. It's #1 on this list, and its entry lists its limitations too.
Key Takeaways
- If you're a sales team trying to reach prospects with emails and mobiles you can use, pick FullEnrich, because it only charges when an email or mobile passes verification. Skip it if reps need the answer while the prospect waits, or you want intent data.
- If you're an ops engineer trying to build your own enrichment workflow, pick Clay, because you set the provider cascade and a miss costs nothing. Skip it if nobody on the team will build and maintain the tables.
- If you're an enterprise team on ZoomInfo trying to fill missing emails and mobiles, pick ZoomInfo (GTM Studio), because its waterfall is included with no credit use. Skip it if you aren't ready for an annual enterprise contract.
- If you're a small team trying to get data and sequences in one tool on a budget, pick Apollo.io, because its waterfall sits next to sequences and a dialer. Skip it if you mostly buy mobiles, since Apollo never refunds mobile credits.
- If you're a calling team trying to reach decision makers in the UK and Europe, pick Cognism, because its Diamond Data mobiles are verified by phone. Skip it if you want a published price and a self-serve plan.
- If you're an AE trying to follow champions who change jobs, pick LeadIQ, because Track returns movers with their new contact data. Skip it if you need to know the week a champion moves, since Track runs monthly.
- If you're a marketer trying to turn website visits into accounts, pick Dealfront (now Leadfeeder), because visitor lists flow straight into contact reveals. Skip it if your buyers rarely visit your site.
- If you're a HubSpot-only team trying to keep records current, pick HubSpot Breeze Intelligence (formerly Clearbit), because once you switch on continuous enrichment, it refreshes records monthly inside the CRM without credits. Skip it if your signups arrive on Gmail or you need mobiles.
- If you're a developer trying to build enrichment into a product, pick People Data Labs, because you set the match-confidence floor and pay per match. Skip it if nobody on the team writes code.
What running a waterfall taught us about B2B data
Running a waterfall taught us that the answer a provider sends back and a contact you can actually use are two different things. A waterfall asks several providers for the same contact until one answer passes verification, so every result we pay for gets checked first. Five lessons stand out:
- The best data is often the slowest. The providers with the highest-quality data tend to run real-time lookups against live sources, with their own checks. An answer in 5 to 15 seconds often comes from a static database rather than a live check.
- One "valid" can hide a catch-all. An email a single verifier calls valid still bounces around 10% of the time, because many of those addresses sit on catch-all domains. Stacking several verifiers is how we tell them apart, and our checks sort emails into three tiers: valid at about 2% bounce, probably valid at about 9%, and catch-all with no other signal at 40% on average.
- A lot of what comes back fails. We reject over 30% of the data our providers return. Up to 32% of emails and up to 29% of phone numbers fail our checks.
- A valid number isn't always your prospect's. It can still ring at their old company, or belong to someone new after being recycled, so ownership gets its own check. In the US and Canada, telecom partners identify the line owner and we match that name to the lead. Cognism also documents an ownership check: it calls its Diamond Data numbers to confirm the right person answers.
- Judge a verifier by the usable emails it leaves you. Every verifier promises 99% delivery, so in 2024 we spent $2,000 sending real emails to 10,000 addresses to compare 11 of them. A tool that marks 50 of 1,000 emails valid at a 0% bounce rate still leaves you with only 50 usable emails.
That's why I'd compare providers on the cost of each contact you can use, more than on how many answers they return.
What are the 15 best B2B data providers in 2026?
The 15 best B2B data providers in 2026 are below. I've grouped them into five categories: waterfall enrichment tools, sales intelligence platforms, B2B contact databases and lookup tools, intent data and website visitor identification, and data enrichment APIs and CRM enrichment. Waterfall enrichment tools
Waterfall enrichment tools ask several data providers for the same contact, one after another, until one returns a usable answer. FullEnrich runs that waterfall for you, and Clay gives you the parts to build your own.
1. FullEnrich: best for verified emails and mobiles you can actually use
G2 rating: 4.8/5 (240 reviews)
- Best for: Teams that want verified emails and mobiles without paying for misses.
- Pricing: Free trial (50 credits); Pro from $29/month for 500 credits, or $26/month billed annually.
- What we like: Every result passes verification before it costs a credit.
FullEnrich's waterfall at work: the first providers return nothing, one email fails verification, and the next providers return a verified email and phone.
FullEnrich is a waterfall enrichment tool. You send a name and a company, and it asks several providers in turn for a work email, a personal email or a mobile number.
It shines when you bring your own list and care about what you can actually use, not how many answers come back. One reviewer says the credit system "only charges me when a contact is actually found, which keeps costs predictable."
The trade-off is speed. Most enrichments take 30 to 90 seconds per contact, 56 on average, because the providers with the best data are often the slowest.
What we like about FullEnrich
- A result that fails verification goes to the next provider, at no cost to you.
- Credits only on found data: 1 for a work email, 3 for a personal email, 10 for a mobile, and landlines come back free.
- Every email carries a status (DELIVERABLE, HIGH_PROBABILITY or catch-all), bouncing at about 2%, 9% and 40%.
- Several ways in: CSV upload, HubSpot push, the API, or an AI agent over MCP.
- Unlimited users on every plan, so nobody shares a login.
Where FullEnrich could be better
- Too slow for a rep on a live call, at about 56 seconds per contact.
- No Chrome extension for pulling contacts while you browse LinkedIn.
- No intent data or website visitor identification
FullEnrich pricing
- Free trial: FullEnrich's free trial includes 50 credits, with no credit card required.
- Paid plans: FullEnrich Pro costs $29 per month for 500 credits, or $26 per month billed annually.
- What a miss costs: FullEnrich charges nothing for a failed lookup or a landline, and re-enriching a contact within 3 months is free.
- Credit rollover: FullEnrich's unused credits roll over for 3 months on monthly plans and 12 months on annual plans.
FullEnrich's pricing page with the slider set to 1,000 credits a month, where Pro costs $55.
Why choose FullEnrich? If bounces and wasted dials cost you more than a slow lookup does.
Skip it if reps need a number while the prospect waits, or you want intent data
2. Clay: best for building your own enrichment workflow
G2 rating: 4.6/5 (234 reviews)
- Best for: Ops engineers who want to design and run their own enrichment cascade.
- Pricing: Free plan (100 data credits, 500 actions/month); paid from $167/month billed annually.
- What we like: You pick from 150+ providers, set the order, and misses cost nothing.
Clay's waterfall, where each row tries Provider 1, 2 and 3 until a phone number turns up.
Clay is a spreadsheet-style workspace where each column can call a data provider, an AI agent or an automation, and every row runs through them. It shines in the hands of an ops engineer who likes to build, and its coverage depends on the providers you wire in. One reviewer (an invited review) says it "only spends a credit when the previous one comes up empty. Our match rate increased noticeably without our spend increasing."
The trade-off is that you own the machine. Two meters need watching, and one setting change can re-run a whole table: one team says "changing a dedupe setting re-ran the entire workbook and blew through our entire month's credits ($1000 in credits burned)." Treat it as a build project with a named owner, not a tool you hand to every rep.
What we like about Clay
- Your own cascade: 150+ providers, searched in the order you choose until one returns a valid match.
- Claygent, an agent in the same table, researches the web and writes a structured answer back into a column.
- Bring your own provider API keys and pay Clay for Actions only.
Where Clay could be better
- Two meters to manage, Data Credits and Actions, with a set number of each per plan.
- Runs you start still cost: stopped runs keep their sent requests, and re-runs or auto-updates trigger new usage.
- A steep start: one reviewer (an incentivized review) says "Clay can be hard to learn at first."
Clay pricing
- Free plan: Clay's free plan includes 100 data credits and 500 actions per month.
- Paid plans: Clay Launch costs $167 per month billed annually, and Growth $446 per month billed annually.
- What a miss costs: per Clay's pricing page, Clay charges no Data Credits or Actions when an enrichment returns no result, and refunds invalid-data credits only if the provider refunds Clay.
- Credit rollover: Clay's monthly Launch and Growth plans bank unused Data Credits up to 2x the monthly amount, annual plans roll over 15% on a same-or-higher renewal, and Actions reset each cycle.
- Reported contracts: Vendr's buyer data puts Clay's median contract at $59,996 a year.
Clay's four plans side by side, each with its yearly actions and data credits.
Our Clay pricing breakdown shows how the two meters add up.
Why choose Clay? If you have an ops engineer with time to build, and each segment needs its own provider mix.
Skip it if nobody will build and maintain the tables; FullEnrich runs the waterfall for you.
Sales intelligence platforms
Sales intelligence platforms pair a contact and company database with tools to prioritize and work accounts. ZoomInfo and Cognism are sold on a custom quote; Apollo.io has a free plan and a published per-seat price.
3. ZoomInfo: best for enterprise teams already on ZoomInfo
G2 rating: 4.5/5 (9,162 reviews)
- Best for: Enterprise teams already prospecting in ZoomInfo who want their contact gaps filled.
- Pricing: Quote-based, on features, number of licenses and credit usage.
- What we like: The GTM Studio waterfall fills missing emails and mobiles without using credits.
ZoomInfo's GTM Workspace feed, with buying-intent and hiring spikes next to an AI-drafted outreach email.
ZoomInfo is a large contact and company database with intent, workflow and AI apps built around it. It fits enterprise teams that already run their prospecting on ZoomInfo, and ZoomInfo describes its data as deepest in North America, its founding market. Its GTM Studio waterfall now fills empty email and mobile fields from outside vendors. One user on r/gtmengineering put it simply: "Zoominfo has waterfall enrichment for free, too."
The trade-off is freshness, especially away from home. Two reviewers on ZoomInfo's GTM Workspace listing (both invited reviews) agree: one calls the data "mixed, like a 60-40 split with some outdated data still there," and the other says "it doesn't work well for international data." Treat the waterfall as a gap filler, because an old value stays put.
What we like about ZoomInfo
- The GTM Studio waterfall, announced on 19 February 2026, evaluates outside vendors in parallel for a missing email or mobile.
- Only the highest-confidence result is added, along with the vendor it came from.
- The waterfall, and later refreshes of that data, use no credits for GTM Studio customers.
- GTM Workspace pulls CRM data, GTM Intelligence, conversation history and engagement signals into one view for AEs and account managers.
Where ZoomInfo could be better
- Gaps only: if ZoomInfo already holds an email or mobile, even an old one, the waterfall leaves it alone.
- Annual prepayment is standard, according to Vendr's buyer data.
ZoomInfo pricing
- Pricing: ZoomInfo is quote-based, priced on features, number of licenses and credit usage.
- What you buy: ZoomInfo sells Sales, Marketing and Talent packages, and its GTM Studio waterfall uses no credits.
- What a miss costs: ZoomInfo spends one credit per exported profile and publishes no rule for an empty or wrong field.
- Reported contracts: Vendr's buyer data puts ZoomInfo's median contract at $33,500 a year.
ZoomInfo lists its Sales, Marketing and Talent packages without prices.
For what those contracts tend to cost, see our ZoomInfo pricing breakdown.
Why choose ZoomInfo? If your renewal is coming up and reps keep hitting blank email and mobile fields.
Skip it if you sell mainly into the UK and Europe, or don't want an annual contract. Our ZoomInfo competitors list covers the rest.
4. Apollo.io: best for data plus sequences in one tool
G2 rating: 4.7/5 (9,839 reviews)
- Best for: Small teams that want data, sequences and a dialer in one tool.
- Pricing: Free plan (900 credits/seat/year); paid from $49/seat/month billed annually.
- What we like: An admin-ordered waterfall of 20+ vendors sits next to sequences and a dialer.
Apollo's People search, with filters on the left and prospects, lead scores and email or phone access on the right.
Apollo.io is a prospecting database with sequences, a dialer and a Chrome extension in the same app. It fits small teams that want data and outreach in one place, on a self-serve plan. One user says they can "find the right companies and decision-makers, pull their contact details, and start outreach right away without needing to jump between multiple tools."
The trade-off is a cost per contact you can't predict. A phone costs 8 credits, and waterfall phone lookups typically run 8 to 25. Accuracy is disputed too: Apollo's help center puts verified-email accuracy at 91%, while one r/CRM user says "'Verified' emails doing 25%+ bounces is just normal at this point with them." Neither gives a sample size. Apollo publishes no regional breakdown either, so treat it as email-first and test your own countries.
What we like about Apollo.io
- A governed waterfall: your admin sets one lineup, and Apollo keeps going until a validated result or every source is tried.
- Through the API, the webhook lists every provider tried for each record, what it returned and the credits used.
- Job changes and intent spikes can trigger sequences, dialing tasks and workflows automatically.
- The Data Health Center shows accuracy and market coverage, and works with Salesforce and HubSpot.
Where Apollo.io could be better
- No single cost per contact: spend depends on your plan, your lineup and each provider's rules.
- Credits run short at volume: one reviewer warns "the credit limit on lower-tier plans can run out quickly if you're doing large-scale prospecting."
- Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle, add-ons included.
Apollo.io pricing
- Free plan: Apollo.io's free plan includes 900 credits per seat a year.
- Paid plans: Apollo.io Basic costs $49 per seat per month billed annually ($65 monthly) with 30,000 credits per seat a year; Professional costs $79 per seat per month and Organization $119 per seat per month (minimum 3 seats), billed annually.
- What a miss costs: Apollo.io's help center says an empty source isn't charged, while its API docs say some vendors charge anyway.
- Refunds: Apollo.io refunds bounced emails sent from Apollo within 30 days, and never refunds mobile credits.
- Reported contracts: Vendr's buyer data puts Apollo.io's median at $19,000 a year.
Apollo's four plans on annual billing, with credits granted per seat each year.
Why choose Apollo.io? If you're sending your first outbound campaigns and don't want to buy a separate sequencer and dialer.
Skip it if you mostly buy mobiles. Our Apollo alternatives cover what teams usually test next.
5. Cognism: best for calling decision makers in the UK and Europe
G2 rating: 4.5/5 (1,370 reviews)
- Best for: Calling teams that need verified mobiles for UK and European decision makers.
- Pricing: Quote-based; Standard and Pro packages each include 5 seats.
- What we like: Diamond Data mobiles are checked by calling the number.
Cognism contact cards with seniority tags and Verify and Export actions.
Cognism is a contact database built for teams that pick up the phone. Cognism says it has "a routine process in place that calls the numbers and confirms that it is the right person who picks up the phone," and one rep on r/sales wrote in 2024 that "their diamond data has been 95% accurate." It shines in Europe: one reviewer (an incentivized review) says "The data works better in the UK and Europe."
The trade-off is that verification doesn't reach everyone, and records still age. Cognism puts typical on-demand verification rates at about 10-15% for UK contacts and 15-20% for US contacts. Another reviewer (an incentivized review) says "the data accuracy can sometimes be inconsistent. Some contacts are outdated, have changed roles, or the information is incomplete." Treat on-demand verification as a tool for a short list of priority prospects.
What we like about Cognism
- On-demand mobile verification: on Pro, click Verify in the Chrome extension and get Verified, Improved or No Improvement.
- 10M+ phone-verified contacts, according to Cognism.
- Numbers are screened against 15 do-not-call lists.
- A browser extension that Cognism says works across "a huge range of websites".
Where Cognism could be better
- On-demand verification is Pro-only.
- No published price or self-serve plan, so every purchase starts with a sales call.
Cognism pricing
- Pricing: Cognism is quote-based, sold as Standard and Pro packages that each include 5 seats.
- What you buy: Cognism includes MCP and API access with Standard, and keeps on-demand mobile verification for Pro.
- Billing model: per Cognism's pricing page, 1 credit = 1 revealed contact, and Cognism uses a credit again only if the contact changes jobs.
- What a miss costs: Cognism's docs don't say whether a reveal with no email or phone uses a credit, and describe no refund for bounces.
Cognism's Standard and Pro packages, each with 5 seats included, next to its credits panel.
Our Cognism pricing guide covers what to expect from a quote.
Why choose Cognism? If your team is measured on connect rates for European mobiles.
Skip it if most of your list is North American or you'd rather buy self-serve. ZoomInfo. Our Cognism alternatives list more.
B2B contact databases and lookup tools
B2B contact databases and lookup tools let you search a vendor's database, or look up one person from a profile, and reveal their email and phone. Most of these tools have a free plan or a published entry price.
6. Lusha: best for quick lookups plus account signals
G2 rating: 4.3/5 (1,667 reviews)
- Best for: Reps who want one-click LinkedIn lookups plus signals for ranking accounts.
- Pricing: Free plan (40 credits/month); paid from $37.45/month billed yearly.
- What we like: Signal Score and Buying Group APIs rank accounts and map their committees.
Lusha turning a plain-English request into company filters for a prospect search.
Lusha is a contact database with a browser extension: open a LinkedIn profile, reveal an email or a phone. It shines for reps who prospect in the browser and want an answer in one click. One reviewer (an invited review) says the extension "fits naturally into my workflow, especially when I'm prospecting on LinkedIn." Since September 2026, Lusha also sells APIs that score accounts and map buying committees.
The trade-off is reach outside North America. One r/sales_intelligence user targeting DACH and APAC accounts says "the hit rate dropped off pretty hard," and another reviewer (G2 flags them as a business partner of Lusha) says the "price is becoming really high, no discounts." Treat it as a North American lookup tool, and test your own countries before you commit.
What we like about Lusha
- The Signal Score API, added on 4 September 2026 per Lusha's changelog, returns one buying-activity score from 0 to 1 per contact or company.
- The Buying Group API maps the committee across up to 25 target companies, labeling decision makers, potential champions and end users.
- Since 23 September 2026, the Data Waterfall fills missing emails and phones on every paid plan, charging only on a match.
- The Chrome and Edge extension reveals contact details without leaving your tab.
Where Lusha could be better
- The waterfall only works on contacts Lusha already has, Lusha sets the order, and it stops at the first match.
- Lusha documents no refund for a bounced email or a wrong number.
Lusha pricing
- Free plan: Lusha's free plan includes 40 credits per month.
- Paid plans: Lusha Starter costs $37.45 per month billed yearly with 4,800 credits a year, or $49.90 billed monthly.
- Billing model: Lusha charges 1 credit for an email reveal and 5 for a phone, while its waterfall charges 2 per work email and 8 per phone, only on a match.
- What a miss costs: Lusha charges a 1-credit minimum for an API request with no results, and nothing for an unmatched CSV row.
- Credit rollover: Lusha rolls over monthly Pro and Premium credits up to twice the plan limit, and annual credits reset at the end of the cycle.
- Reported contracts: Vendr's buyer data puts Lusha's median at $15,999 a year.
Lusha's credit slider above its five plans, with Starter at $37.45 a month on yearly billing.
Why choose Lusha? If your reps prospect North American accounts from LinkedIn and want an answer without leaving the profile.
Skip it if you need mobiles verified before you pay; FullEnrich checks every number first. If the credit math doesn't fit, compare these Lusha alternatives.
7. Seamless.AI: best for researching a whole list in one run
G2 rating: 4.4/5 (5,407 reviews)
- Best for: Teams that want a whole ICP list researched in one run.
- Pricing: Quote-based; the pricing page leads to a demo request.
- What we like: Autopilot turns your ICP filters into a researched list of thousands of contacts.
A Seamless.AI contact card flagging a new hire, with email and phone details below.
Seamless.AI is a contact search platform for sales teams, with list building, CRM import and one credit per contact researched. It fits teams that would rather set filters once than look people up one by one: Autopilot builds the list, "1,000s to 100,000s of contacts in minutes." One user says "I find Seamless incredibly fast... I can get cell phone numbers."
The trade-off is that you pay for each phone whether or not it works, and freshness comes up too: one reviewer (an incentivized review) says it "could be improved if the contacts got updated more frequently." Treat its output as a first draft you verify before sending.
What we like about Seamless.AI
- You can pause or cancel an Autopilot run and keep what's been researched.
- Contacts already in My Contacts are skipped without a credit.
- Every email carries a Total AI score from 0 to 100, with 70 or above recommended for most outreach.
- MCP integration lets you search and enrich from ChatGPT, Claude and other MCP-enabled platforms.
Where Seamless.AI could be better
- Check before you send: another reviewer (an incentivized review) says "there's been a few times that the contact information isn't accurate so I still verify information before reaching out."
- No published price for paid plans.
Seamless.AI pricing
- Pricing: Seamless.AI is quote-based; its pricing link leads to a demo request form.
- What you buy: Seamless.AI offers special pricing for unlimited users, bulk credits, job changes, buyer intent and enrichment, and charges 1 credit per contact researched.
- What a miss costs: Seamless.AI keeps the credit whether or not a phone works; its Credit Back program automatically refunds only emails its verification flags as invalid, not phones, role-based addresses, soft bounces or company data.
Seamless.AI's pricing link opens a demo request form rather than a price list.
Why choose Seamless.AI? If you need thousands of ICP contacts researched this week and will verify them before sending.
Skip it if you don't want to pay for wrong phones, or want a published price; FullEnrich bills only verified results.
8. UpLead: best for paying only for valid emails
G2 rating: 4.7/5 (831 reviews)
- Best for: Small teams building email lists who only want to pay for valid addresses.
- Pricing: 7-day free trial (5 credits); paid from $74/month billed annually.
- What we like: A "Valid Only" download leaves invalid emails blank, and validation is free.
UpLead's Contact Search table, with phone, email and location columns and a credit counter.
UpLead is a contact database built around search, filters and CSV download. It suits small teams that build email lists and want each download checked first: on a bulk download, UpLead lets you choose "Valid Only", "Valid and Accept All", or all available emails. One user says "UpLead allows me to get what I need much faster" than searching several tools.
The trade-off is that "valid" is a snapshot. UpLead's help center says its 95% accuracy guarantee "does not guarantee zero bounces when you send email," and one reviewer says UpLead "needs to improve the accuracy and freshness of some contact information." Treat a download as fresh on the day you take it, and re-check anything you keep for months.
What we like about UpLead
- Validating contacts doesn't consume credits, and invalid emails stay blank.
- The 95% accuracy guarantee is measured at verification, with credits back for contacts that bounce.
- Technographic filters cover 27,000+ technology data points, with include and exclude options.
- The API has Company, Person, Combined and Prospector endpoints, at up to 500 requests per minute.
Where UpLead could be better
- Accept-all is a judgment call: the server accepts every address, so the person can't be confirmed.
- Lookups need context: one reviewer wishes UpLead "could find email addresses for a list I already have, without requiring employment information or a company name."
UpLead pricing
- Free trial: UpLead's 7-day free trial includes 5 credits.
- Paid plans: UpLead Essentials costs $74 per month billed annually, or $99 billed monthly for 170 credits, and one credit covers a contact's email and mobile.
- What a miss costs: UpLead refunds unmatched list rows, and its API charges only for a Valid or Accept All email.
- Credit expiry: UpLead's unused credits don't roll over into a renewal term.
UpLead's plans on monthly billing, from the free trial to Professional.
Why choose UpLead? If you send cold email to lists you build yourself and bounces are hurting your sender reputation.
Skip it if you need mobiles verified before you dial; FullEnrich checks each number, and its owner in the US and Canada, before it charges. See our UpLead alternatives for more.
9. RocketReach: best for graded email confidence
G2 rating: 4.4/5 (1,385 reviews)
- Best for: Teams that want to choose how much email bounce risk to accept.
- Pricing: 5 free lookups; paid from $33/month billed annually.
- What we like: A / A- / B email grades map to expected deliverability.
RocketReach's intent view: a prospect card with the topics their company is researching.
RocketReach is a people-lookup tool: search a name or a company and get emails and phone numbers. It fits teams that want to decide how much bounce risk to accept, because its FAQ maps grades to deliverability: A is about 98%, A- about 90% and B 75-85%. One user (an invited review) says "I almost always find the right email address for the person I'm looking to contact."
The trade-off is credit spend you didn't plan for. One reviewer (an invited review) says "it uses a credit for the phone number, which I do not use. It also uses a credit for a gmail address." Annual Essentials also caps exports at 1,200 a year. Treat the annual plan as a fixed lookup budget, and count the exports you need before you sign.
What we like about RocketReach
- API and MCP access start on the Essentials plan.
- Over 50 RocketReach data attributes map to Salesforce fields on supported plans.
Where RocketReach could be better
- Not every lookup lands: RocketReach says 87% of lookups return profiles.
- B-grade emails are rated 75-85% deliverable, so they need a second check before you send.
- Capped exports: another reviewer (an invited review) says "exporting the contacts I've already obtained feels limited, even when I'm on the best subscription."
RocketReach pricing
- Free plan: RocketReach's free account includes 5 lookups.
- Paid plans: RocketReach Essentials costs $33 per month billed annually and covers emails only; Pro, from $75 per month billed annually, adds phone numbers.
- What a miss costs: RocketReach refunds a lookup that finds no verified email or phone, and charges nothing for B or F grade emails through the API.
- Credit expiry: RocketReach's annual credits expire at the end of the one-year term.
- Reported contracts: Vendr's buyer data puts RocketReach's median at $6,750 a year.
RocketReach's three plans on annual billing, with phone numbers starting on Pro.
Why choose RocketReach? If you'd rather send fewer, safer emails and drop the riskier grades yourself.
Skip it if you need phones on an entry plan
10. Kaspr: best for pulling phones from LinkedIn
G2 rating: 4.4/5 (837 reviews)
- Best for: Reps who prospect inside LinkedIn and want the phone number next to the profile.
- Pricing: Free plan; paid from $49/user/month billed annually.
- What we like: The "Phone numbers Required" filter spends a credit only when a phone turns up.
Kaspr's panel over a LinkedIn list, showing a contact's phone, email, location and job title.
Kaspr is a Chrome extension that pulls emails and phone numbers from LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite profiles, and it pitches its data as European. It fits reps who qualify accounts first and then want the mobile. One r/smallbusiness user works exactly that way, "then I just need to retrieve their LinkedIn profiles to get their phone numbers via Kaspr."
The trade-off is credit drain outside the filtered workflow. Without a filter, Kaspr spends the credit whatever it finds, and one reviewer says "it automatically draws a credit whenever you are looking at a lead." Treat it as a tool for leads you work one at a time, and set a filter before any bulk run.
What we like about Kaspr
- Kaspr says it checks and verifies data against 120 sources.
- Three numbers on one lead still cost one Phone Credit.
- Starter includes unlimited B2B email credits, capped at 10,000 a month per account.
- It enriches CSVs and sends contacts to HubSpot, Salesforce, Brevo, Pipedrive and lemlist.
Where Kaspr could be better
- Phone credits are capped at 100 on Starter and 200 on Business, and Recruiter Lite support starts on Business.
- Full profiles cost more: one reviewer (an incentivized review) says "getting a full profile can cost 2-3 credits per lead, which adds up quickly."
- It needs 20 LinkedIn connections, and Starter's API allows 20 requests an hour.
Kaspr pricing
- Free plan: Kaspr's free plan includes 5 phone credits, 15 B2B email credits and 5 direct email credits a month.
- Paid plans: Kaspr Starter costs $49 per user per month billed annually, or $65 billed monthly, with 100 phone credits a month.
- What a miss costs: with the "Phone numbers Required" filter set in a bulk workflow, Kaspr spends a phone credit only when a number turns up; otherwise it spends the credit regardless.
- Refunds: Kaspr's credits aren't refundable.
Kaspr's plans in US dollars on monthly billing, priced per user.
Why choose Kaspr? If your reps already live in Sales Navigator and dial from it.
Skip it if you can't prospect from LinkedIn, or need API volume.
11. LeadIQ: best for tracking champions who change jobs
G2 rating: 4.2/5 (1,186 reviews)
- Best for: AEs who want to know when their champions change jobs.
- Pricing: Free plan (50 credits, 1 user); paid from $15/month billed annually, for up to 5 users.
- What we like: Track returns champions who moved, with their new contact data.
LeadIQ's extension next to a LinkedIn search, ready to capture prospects with email and phone.
LeadIQ is a prospecting tool for outbound reps who capture contacts from LinkedIn and push them to a CRM or sequencer. Its standout is Track: give it a Salesforce list or a CSV, and "every month, LeadIQ will analyze your list and deliver back a list of those contacts that have changed jobs, along with their new contact data." One r/SaaS user says "They focus on job change tracking like Champify but have a more complete prospecting platform."
The trade-off is timing and phone quality. Track runs in monthly batches, so a champion can sit in the new seat for weeks before you hear. Phones are mixed: one reviewer (an incentivized review) says "LeadIQ doesn't always provide the correct phone numbers." Treat Track as a monthly source of warm accounts.
What we like about LeadIQ
- The Chrome extension captures contacts from LinkedIn and Sales Navigator and pushes them to your CRM or sequencer.
- Account tracking surfaces promotions, exits and new hires across a company.
- CRM enrichment runs in Salesforce through a Managed Package, and in HubSpot through Workato.
Where LeadIQ could be better
- Thinner in EMEA: LeadIQ's pricing FAQ puts its mobile match rate at 85% globally and 70% in EMEA.
- Credits feel pricey: another reviewer (an incentivized review) says "Credits are way too expensive."
- Paid credits expire at the end of each subscription term.
LeadIQ pricing
- Free plan: LeadIQ's free plan includes 50 credits for 1 user.
- Paid plans: LeadIQ Pro costs $15 per month billed annually for up to 5 users, or $20 billed monthly, and scales with the credits you pick.
- Billing model: LeadIQ charges 1 credit to reveal an email and 10 for a phone.
- What a miss costs: LeadIQ charges EMEA and APAC phone requests only if a number is found, and Data Police may refund a wrong phone once LeadIQ confirms it.
LeadIQ's three plans, with Pro at $15 a month and 5 users included.
Our LeadIQ pricing guide breaks down the credit slider.
Why choose LeadIQ? If your best deals come from champions who already bought from you once, and you sell mainly in North America.
Skip it if most prospects sit outside North America, or you want phones straight from LinkedIn profiles in Europe.
Intent data and website visitor identification
Intent data and website visitor identification tools tell you which accounts are researching a purchase or showing up on your site. 6sense scores accounts into buying stages, and Leadfeeder turns website visits into a list of companies. Not all intent is home-grown: Cognism's comes from Bombora.
12. 6sense: best for knowing which accounts are in-market
G2 rating: 4.2/5 (1,541 reviews)
- Best for: Account-based teams deciding which accounts to work this month.
- Pricing: Quote-based, after a demo.
- What we like: Predictive buying stages score every account from Target to Purchase.
6sense's behavioral analytics dashboard, tracking account activity by channel over time.
6sense is an account intelligence platform for marketing and sales teams. It sells contact data too, but people buy it to decide which accounts to work this month. 6sense scores each account into Target (0-19), Awareness (20-49), Consideration (50-69), Decision (70-85) and Purchase (86-100), reading signals like searches, page views and form fills. One r/sales user who says they were a 6sense CSM calls it useful for narrowing focus, "but it's a guide - not foolproof."
The trade-off is price and transparency. One r/gtmengineering user says "you're paying enterprise prices for SMB usage," and one reviewer (an invited review) says "The prioritisation is a black box for us and seems specific to its purchasing funnel, not our stages." Treat it as an account-selection layer, and budget contact data on top.
What we like about 6sense
- An account that reached Decision or Purchase in the last 60 days, with a strong or moderate fit, becomes a 6QA for sales.
- Accounts are tagged Hot (New), Hot, Warm or Cold by comparing this week's activity with the prior three weeks.
- Enrichment APIs cover company firmographics, people search and enrichment, company identification and lead scoring.
Where 6sense could be better
- Setting up the company model takes 6sense consultants.
- No refund is described for a bounced email or a wrong number.
6sense pricing
- Pricing: 6sense is quote-based and quotes after a demo.
- What you buy: 6sense licenses Predictive separately, and its contact data uses its own credits, one per person revealed.
- What a miss costs: 6sense charges no credit when a record doesn't match, re-enriches a paid record free for 12 months, and loses unused credits at the end of the term.
- Reported contracts: Vendr's buyer data puts 6sense's median at $62,220 a year.
6sense's Sales Intelligence pricing page lists two packages and no prices.
Why choose 6sense? If your pipeline is account-based and you have more target accounts than reps can work.
Skip it if you need a person to email or call this week, or your ABM budget is smaller.
13. Dealfront (now Leadfeeder): best for turning website visits into accounts
G2 rating: 4.3/5 (866 reviews, listed as Leadfeeder)
- Best for: Teams with inbound traffic who want to know which companies visit.
- Pricing: Free Lite plan (100 identified companies/month); paid from $79/month billed annually.
- What we like: Visiting companies flow straight into contact reveals in Target.
Leadfeeder's company table, with add-to-list, export and CRM actions.
Leadfeeder, formerly Dealfront, pairs website visitor identification with a company and contact database called Target; the whole platform has run under the Leadfeeder name since 24 March 2026. Leadfeeder says it identifies up to 45% of B2B visitors at company level. One r/Entrepreneurs user describes the first days: "within a day or so you will start getting information about visitors, such as the company name, which pages they looked at..."
The trade-off is that it only helps when buyers visit, and IP matching misses some of them. One reviewer notes gaps "especially when companies use shared IPs or VPNs," and one r/gtmengineering user selling into DACH put it bluntly: "the Betriebsleiter in Bietigheim is never going to visit your website." Treat it as an inbound signal, and keep a separate source for outbound lists.
What we like about Dealfront (now Leadfeeder)
- Save visiting companies as a list, open it in Target, and reveal the people behind them.
- Email or Slack alerts fire when specific companies visit your site.
- CRM sync covers Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics and Zoho.
Where Dealfront (now Leadfeeder) could be better
- Company-level only: you see the company, not the person who visited.
- US data comes as a separate pack on top of the European data.
- Standard plan credits don't roll over at the end of the contract.
Dealfront (now Leadfeeder) pricing
- Free plan: Leadfeeder Lite is free for up to 100 identified companies per month.
- Paid plans: Leadfeeder Discover costs $79 per month billed annually ($113 monthly) without contact credits; Activate costs $369 per month billed annually with 200 credits a month, and every paid plan includes unlimited users.
- What a miss costs: Leadfeeder charges 1 credit per contact successfully enriched and none when no additional data is found, and identifying a visiting company never uses credits.
- Reported contracts: Vendr's buyer data puts Leadfeeder's median at $8,628 a year.
Leadfeeder's four plans on annual billing, from the free Lite plan to Scale.
Why choose Dealfront (now Leadfeeder)? If a good share of your pipeline starts with a visit to your website.
Skip it if your buyers rarely visit your site, or you need verified mobiles for named people.
Data enrichment APIs and CRM enrichment
Data enrichment APIs and CRM enrichment tools fill in records you already have, either inside your CRM or through an API call from your own product. Breeze refreshes HubSpot records, and PDL sells person and company records to developers who set the match rules and pay per match.
14. HubSpot Breeze Intelligence: best for HubSpot-only teams
G2 rating: 4.4/5 (632 reviews, on Clearbit's listing)
- Best for: Teams that run everything in HubSpot and want records kept current.
- Pricing: Included in paid Smart CRM seats, with no per-lookup charge.
- What we like: Monthly re-enrichment refreshes CRM records without using credits.
HubSpot's enrichment panel, showing which properties can be enriched and where each current value came from.
HubSpot Breeze Intelligence (formerly Clearbit, and called Breeze below) is HubSpot's data enrichment, now part of Smart CRM. It fits teams that live in HubSpot, because the data lands on the record and stays current: turn on continuous enrichment and HubSpot updates previously enriched records monthly when new data appears. One r/CRM user summed up the packaging: "basic version now free on Core Seats."
The trade-off is reach. Breeze is built on business email addresses and company domains, so a Gmail signup gives it little to work with, and it doesn't find mobiles to dial. On Clearbit's G2 listing, one reviewer (an incentivized review) flags "persons that quit and don't work there anymore." Treat it as baseline hygiene for your CRM, not an outbound contact source.
What we like about HubSpot Breeze Intelligence
- You choose whether it fills empty fields only or overwrites existing values.
- The same data drops fields from your forms, so visitors fill in less.
- Buyer intent (beta) matches visitor IPs to companies and tracks research topics and company news such as funding and hiring.
Where HubSpot Breeze Intelligence could be better
- Off by default: continuous enrichment does nothing until an admin switches it on, and existing records refresh only if you enable the monthly option.
- Business data only, so Gmail signups and mobile numbers are out of reach.
HubSpot Breeze Intelligence pricing
- Pricing: HubSpot includes Breeze enrichment in all paid Smart CRM plans at no extra cost.
- Seat price: HubSpot Smart CRM Professional costs $45 per seat per month billed annually, or $50 billed monthly.
- What a miss costs: HubSpot doesn't bill Breeze enrichment per lookup, and existing values stay unless you choose to overwrite them.
- Credits: Breeze enrichment uses no HubSpot Credits, while buyer intent costs 10 credits to track a company.
HubSpot's Free Tools and bundled Starter suite, with a new-customer promo next to the $20 list price. Smart CRM seats are priced separately.
Why choose HubSpot Breeze Intelligence? If HubSpot is your only CRM and most of your leads arrive with a business email.
Skip it if you're not on HubSpot, or need mobiles to dial.
15. People Data Labs: best for developers building enrichment into a product
- Best for: Developers building enrichment into a product or data pipeline.
- Pricing: Free plan (100 credits/month, contact fields hidden); paid from $98/month.
- What we like: You set a match-confidence floor and pay only for matches.
A People Data Labs illustration of a profile with labeled fields: email, company, title, full name, phone and social profile.
People Data Labs sells person and company data as APIs and bulk licenses. It's built for developers, who call it from their own product, warehouse or workflow tool, and its profiles span the globe, with the US by far the largest country. One r/n8n user reaches for "PDL (People Data Labs) for pay-per-record enrichment when you need specific batch runs."
The trade-off is the contact layer. In data version 35.2, mobiles sit on 20.2% of all 2.47B records, and only 13.8% of the 592M records with an email carry a work email. Cost bites at low volume too: one r/gtmengineering builder says PDL fits the job, "but at ~$0.28 per record it is way too expensive for what I'm trying to build." Treat it as raw material for a product, not a rep's source of emails and phones.
What we like about People Data Labs
min_likelihoodsets the bar a profile must clear; the default 2 means roughly a 10-30% chance of the right person, and PDL recommends 6 or higher.- The
requiredparameter lists the fields a response must contain, and you're charged per match only. - Bulk calls take up to 100 people per request.
- Company Enrichment and Company Search APIs sit next to the person endpoints.
Where People Data Labs could be better
- Emails lean personal: 64.1% of records with an email carry a personal one.
- No interface for reps, so someone on the team has to write code.
People Data Labs pricing
- Free plan: People Data Labs' free plan includes 100 credits per month, with contact fields hidden.
- Paid plans: People Data Labs Pro starts at $98 per month, or from $940 a year billed annually.
- What a miss costs: People Data Labs charges per matched profile, so a profile without an email or phone still costs a credit unless you set
required. - Credit rollover: People Data Labs rolls unused credits over up to one period's limit, and the rest is lost.
- Reported contracts: Vendr's buyer data puts People Data Labs' median at $12,500 a year.
People Data Labs' three tiers, with the Pro self-serve plan starting at $98 a month.
Our People Data Labs pricing guide shows how credits scale past the free tier.
Why choose People Data Labs? If your product needs person or company records behind its own features.
Skip it if nobody on the team writes code, or a rep needs emails and phones to dial.
How do the five waterfalls differ?
The five waterfalls differ on three things that change your data and your bill: how providers are queried, who sets the order, and when you're charged.
Waterfall enrichment means asking several data providers in turn for the same contact until one returns a usable answer. Five of these 15 tools now advertise it: FullEnrich, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, Lusha and Clay.
Tool | How providers are queried | Who sets the order | When you're charged |
|---|---|---|---|
FullEnrich | Provider by provider; a result that fails verification sends the request to the next one | FullEnrich | Only on a verified result (1 work email, 3 personal email, 10 mobile); landlines free |
ZoomInfo | Outside vendors evaluated in parallel, only when ZoomInfo has no email or mobile | ZoomInfo | Included for GTM Studio customers, no credit consumption |
Apollo.io | Apollo's own data first, then down the lineup until a validated result or every source is tried | Your admin | Each provider that returns data charges credits; total depends on plan and lineup |
Lusha | Lusha's data first, then providers until the first match; only for contacts Lusha already has | Lusha | 2 credits per work email, 8 per phone, only on a match |
Clay | One after another until a valid match | You | No result, no charge (per enrichment) |
A waterfall helps when one database misses people another one has. It has two limits:
- It doesn't fix a list nobody covers. One r/b2bmarketing user put it well: "If the same accounts keep coming back empty every time, that's a coverage problem, and more providers won't fix it."
- It doesn't make a wrong answer right. The same user adds that "a plausible-looking wrong email counts as a hit."
That second point is the one I'd weigh hardest. A waterfall that stops at the first answer and bills for it rewards fill rate. One that checks the answer first rewards data you can use.
How do you choose a B2B data provider?
You choose a B2B data provider by matching its standout feature to the job you need done, then checking how it bills and where its data is strongest. Three questions do most of the work:
- Where does the data land: Breeze writes to the HubSpot record and refreshes it monthly. With a standalone provider, you move the data into your CRM yourself, by file or integration.
- Which regions do you call: depth changes by country, so ask for the verified share in your own countries.
- Do you need people or accounts: 6sense and Dealfront (now Leadfeeder) tell you which companies to look at. The rest tell you who to contact and how.
Questions to ask any vendor before you sign
Most of these answers aren't on a pricing page:
- What consumes a credit, and is a lookup that finds nothing charged, in the app and the API?
- What happens to the credit when an email bounces or a number is wrong?
- How is your accuracy number measured, and do catch-alls count as valid?
- How do you tie a mobile to the named person, not an old company or a recycled line?
- When was this record last checked?
- Can we test 100 to 200 of our own known contacts first?
- Is API or MCP access on our plan, and what are the rate limits?
- Do unused credits roll over, add-ons included?
If you want to see what a verified waterfall returns on your own list, FullEnrich gives you 50 free credits with no card. Run a slice of contacts you already know and compare. Start free.
usable contact. Billing only on verified results keeps the two numbers close.
FAQ
What is the best B2B data provider?
FullEnrich is #1 on this list for verified emails and mobiles, while ZoomInfo fits teams already on it, Cognism fits UK and European calling, Clay fits teams that build their own workflows, and People Data Labs fits developers. Each pick depends on your region, your channel and whether you want to build the workflow yourself.
What's the difference between a B2B data provider and an enrichment tool?
A data provider sells contacts you don't have yet, in three ways: an owned database you search (ZoomInfo, Cognism, Apollo.io), a layer that queries other providers (FullEnrich, Clay), or raw records through an API (People Data Labs). An enrichment tool fills in records you already hold. Starting from names, you need enrichment, which our data enrichment tools roundup covers; starting from an ICP with no names, a searchable database.
Which B2B data provider is best for small businesses versus enterprise?
Small teams do best with a published price and no annual commitment: Apollo.io, Lusha, UpLead or FullEnrich (FullEnrich from $29 a month, Lusha from $37.45 billed yearly). Enterprise teams wanting contacts, intent and workflow in one contract tend to buy ZoomInfo, Cognism or 6sense, where Vendr's buyer data puts median contracts at $33,500 and $62,220 a year for ZoomInfo and 6sense.
What's the best free B2B data provider?
For a small team, Apollo.io, because each seat gets 900 free credits a year next to sequences and a dialer. Lusha gives 40 credits a month, Clay 100 data credits a month, People Data Labs 100 credits with contact fields hidden, and FullEnrich a 50-credit trial. Free plans are enough to test your own contacts. Running outbound on them won't last long.
Is LinkedIn Sales Navigator a B2B data provider?
No. Sales Navigator helps you find and research people on LinkedIn, but it doesn't hand you most prospects' work email or mobile. Most teams pair it with a lookup tool such as Kaspr or LeadIQ, or export the list and run it through an enrichment tool.
Which B2B data providers integrate with Salesforce and HubSpot?
Most do, at different depths. Breeze lives inside HubSpot. LeadIQ syncs to Salesforce through a Managed Package and to HubSpot through Workato, Leadfeeder sends to Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Dynamics and Zoho, Kaspr to HubSpot and Salesforce, RocketReach maps 50+ fields to Salesforce, Apollo's Data Health Center works with both, and FullEnrich enriches contacts pushed from HubSpot.
How do B2B data vendors source their data?
Most mix public web data with data licensed from other providers, then run their own checks. UpLead analyzes public documents and licenses third-party data, 6sense draws on third-party providers and data co-ops, Leadfeeder uses trade registers and business networks, and Cognism calls numbers to confirm the right person answers. FullEnrich stores no database and queries several providers live for each contact.
Is it legal to use B2B contact data?
Yes, within rules. GDPR covers personal data of people in the EU and UK, including work emails and mobiles, and laws like the CCPA apply in parts of the US. Check each vendor's compliance page, document your basis for outreach, and honor opt-outs. For cold calls, the UK's TPS and the US DNC lists apply too, so ask whether phones are screened (Cognism checks 15 DNC lists) and how the vendor handles deletion requests.
How many B2B data providers should you use?
One, if it covers your countries and your bounce and connect numbers hold up. If you sell into several regions, a waterfall asks several providers for each contact instead; FullEnrich, Clay, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io and Lusha all run one, each with different billing.
How accurate is B2B contact data?
It varies more than headline numbers suggest. Published accuracy figures are vendor-reported and swing with region, seniority and how recently a record was refreshed. RocketReach rates its A-grade emails at about 98% deliverable, and FullEnrich's DELIVERABLE status runs at about a 2% bounce rate. Test 100-200 of your own contacts before you buy.
If you want to see what a verified waterfall returns on your own list, FullEnrich gives you 50 free credits with no card. Run a slice of contacts you already know and compare. Start free.
