15 Best Lead Generation Tools in 2026 (Ranked & Compared)

15 B2B lead generation tools for inbound and outbound, compared on what your rep gets: an account, a name, an email, or email + mobile. Prices + G2.
Benjamin Douablin Benjamin Douablin October 21, 2026

Quick summary:

Our top three of the 15 tools below are FullEnrich for verified emails and mobiles, Apollo for search, data and sequences in one seat, and HubSpot for inbound forms with a free CRM.

We reviewed 15 B2B lead generation tools, inbound and outbound, on one question: what does your rep hold when the tool is done?

HubSpot

Inbound teams that want forms, nurture and a free CRM

Most lead generation software stops before a person your rep can call. A visitor-ID tool hands over a company. A form hands over whatever the visitor typed. A database hands over a mobile, and 25% of the valid mobiles in one 2026 test of ten providers belonged to someone else.

Disclosure: FullEnrich is our product. It's first on this list, and its entry spells out what it doesn't do.

Why do more lead generation tools still leave reps with no one to call?

Most lead generation tools capabilities end at a company name, a typed email or a database record, not at a working email plus the right mobile. Our rankings sort them by category (CRM, chat, visitor ID, database), I will cober what each tool does.

Where each lead generation tool stopsFour steps, from least to most reachable. 1. Account: The company behind a website visit. Tools that stop here: Leadfeeder (Dealfront), RB2B free plan. 2. Each tool on the list, placed on the step where it stops on its own, before any other tool takes over.

Elric Legloire of Outbound Kitchen ran that test on 1,400 US contacts in May 2026. At best, across all ten, 99% came back with a number, 96% with a valid mobile and 68% with the right person. Pooled across every valid mobile, 60% were the right person, 25% belonged to someone else and 15% couldn't be confirmed.

His read: "Every provider advertises coverage: how often it returns a number. That is the widest, weakest layer, and it is the only one they talk about."

There's a fair counter-view: stack more tools. Legloire's data backs half of it. A second contact provider helps: in his test it raised right-person reach from 51% to 60%, and a third added three points.

Why Listen to us?

We run the last step of lead generation for a living: turning a lead into a verified email and mobile. FullEnrich takes the leads other tools produce and runs waterfall enrichment on them, sending each contact through 20+ data providers one after another until one returns a verified match.

Of the data we buy from providers, 31.53% fails our verification. None of it reaches a customer or an invoice. That's why this list judges tools by what they hand your rep, not by how many leads they promise.

ColdIQ, an outbound agency, lists FullEnrich among the "people enrichment waterfalls" in its guide to the 8 layers of B2B data.

"What your rep ends up with" means what the tool returns on its own. Prices are as of October 2026. Each entry opens with its G2 rating; HubSpot's is for Marketing Hub, ZoomInfo's for GTM Workspace and Intercom's for Fin.

Visitor identification (Leadfeeder, RB2B) and lead capture or chat tools (HubSpot, Chili Piper, Intercom) stop at an account or a name. Contact databases (Apollo, ZoomInfo, Cognism, Lusha) return emails and mobiles, Hunter returns emails only, enrichment (FullEnrich, Clay) completes a lead with an email and a mobile, and cold email tools (Instantly, lemlist) send to those leads. Some tools also sell intent data, or buying signals: evidence that an account may be researching a purchase, such as a spike in interest or repeat site visits.

Ads, social scheduling, webinars, landing-page builders like Unbounce or Leadpages, and B2C referral tools sit outside this list.

1. FullEnrich

G2 rating for FullEnrich: 4.8/5, 245 reviews

FullEnrich Search listing people by job title, company and location, with a Find phone action on each row FullEnrich Search lists people by job title, company and location, with a phone lookup on every row and one click to enrich the whole list.

FullEnrich is a B2B contact data platform that turns a name, a LinkedIn URL or an email into a verified work email and mobile number, so leads from any other tool become people your rep can call.

Three email engines must agree before an email ships, and phones are checked as active mobile lines, not landlines or switchboards. Once a contact is complete, FullEnrich passes it to the CRM or sequencer your rep uses.

Best for: Teams with lists, form fills or visitor-ID names that still lack a working phone number

Key features

  • Build a prospect list with filters such as company, job title, location, industry and headcount, at 0.25 credit per person returned
  • Credit costs by data type: a work email is 1 credit, a mobile 10, a personal email 3
  • Reverse email lookup: an email in, a full person and company profile out, for 1 credit
  • Native HubSpot push, plus API, Zapier, Make, n8n and an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT

Pros

  • Phones are checked for out-of-service status and, in the US and Canada, for an owner-name match
  • Reverse lookup accepts personal addresses such as Gmail and Outlook, the kind inbound forms collect
  • Unlimited users on every plan

Cons

  • It starts once you have a lead: no visitor identification and no email sending
  • Catch-all emails cost 1 credit, and FullEnrich's docs put their bounce rates above deliverable ones (9% for high-probability catch-alls versus 2%)

Pricing: The free trial gives 50 credits. Pro is $29 monthly for 500 credits; on annual billing it starts at $26 a month, which buys 6,000 credits a year. Unused credits carry over three months on monthly billing and a full year on annual. Enterprise is custom.

2. Apollo

G2 rating for Apollo: 4.7/5, 9,848 reviews

Apollo people search with the email enrichment panel and its ordered data sources Apollo's people search with its email enrichment panel, where you set the order of data sources before running it.

Apollo is a sales intelligence and engagement platform that puts a B2B contact database, email sequences and a dialer behind one login, so one seat can find prospects and contact them.

One G2 reviewer at a software company gives it 3 out of 5. Apollo beat their old mix of tools on cost per contact, they write, but "Credit utilization is a big black box".

Apollo says its database holds 240M+ contacts, and a waterfall asks other sources when it lacks an email or phone. Between its own database and the waterfall, Apollo can return a work email and a mobile. Apollo's docs say the waterfall charges for returned data "whether or not it's verified", so a wrong number still costs credits.

Best for: Founders and small SDR teams starting outbound on a tight budget

Key features

  • Credit costs: an email is 1 credit, a phone number 8
  • Waterfall enrichment is listed on the Basic plan
  • Inbound Essentials add-on: up to 1,000 US contacts and 5,000 companies a month from site visits

Pros

  • An MCP server connects the database to Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity
  • Basic also identifies 100 visiting companies a month, before any add-on
  • Credits are pooled across the team and granted upfront

Cons

  • Credits left at the end of a billing cycle don't carry over
  • Every seat must sit on the same plan

Pricing: Free is $0. Basic is $49 per seat a month, Professional $79 and Organization $119 with a 3-seat minimum, all billed annually. Annual billing saves 24% over monthly. Inbound Essentials costs $119 per team a month, billed annually.

If your SDRs keep reaching dead or wrong numbers, run the Apollo export through FullEnrich before you buy more credits, or compare other Apollo alternatives.

3. HubSpot

G2 rating for HubSpot Marketing Hub: 4.4/5, 15,986 reviews

A HubSpot contact record with the contact card, quick actions and activity timeline A HubSpot contact record: everything here starts from what the visitor typed into a form.

HubSpot is a marketing automation platform with a free CRM that turns website traffic into named contacts through forms and landing pages, then nurtures them by email.

In HubSpot's own words, its lead capture forms are what turn "anonymous website traffic into named sales prospects." Enrichment then fills in company and contact fields. What your rep gets is a name and whatever email the visitor typed; HubSpot doesn't document mobile enrichment.

Felix Z., a founder, calls the free CRM genuinely usable on G2: "I track 200+ contacts, manage email sequences, and build landing pages without paying a cent."

Best for: Marketing-led teams that want lead capture and the CRM under one login, starting at $0

Key features

  • Form shortening: visitors only see the fields enrichment can't fill
  • Lead scoring, segmentation and routing to the right rep
  • Progressive profiling and conditional routing on Professional and Enterprise

Pros

  • Enrichment draws on HubSpot's own dataset, third-party providers and public web data
  • Marketing Hub also identifies logged-in visitors

Cons

  • HubSpot's enrichment matches on first name, last name and work email, which leaves Gmail sign-ups with less to match on
  • Marketing contacts are capped by tier: 1,000 on Starter, 2,000 on Professional
  • Professional adds a required $3,000 one-time onboarding fee

Pricing: The free plan costs $0 for up to 2 users. Starter starts at $7 per seat a month. Professional starts at $800 a month with 3 core seats, and Enterprise at $3,600 a month.

If you already run a CRM you like and only need demo requests booked faster, Chili Piper routes and books straight from your forms. If you stay on HubSpot, FullEnrich's HubSpot integration writes verified emails and mobiles into the same contact records.

4. LinkedIn Sales Navigator

G2 rating for LinkedIn Sales Navigator: 4.4/5, 2,211 reviews

A LinkedIn Sales Navigator account list with lead and account filters A Sales Navigator account list with lead and account filters, and no email or phone column.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a sales intelligence tool that searches LinkedIn's member network, so reps can find the people to contact and open conversations with InMail.

LinkedIn's Help Center says contact details show up only if a member opts to share them, and LinkedIn's sales blog points sellers to InMail as the direct route. You end up with the right person's name and profile, so you'll need a second tool to get emails from LinkedIn Sales Navigator leads and to add their mobiles.

On G2, anil g., an SDR, asks for more: "It would also be helpful to have more direct contact information available for prospects."

Best for: Reps who prospect one target account at a time

Key features

  • InMail to reach prospects before you have an email or phone number
  • Contact details on profiles where members choose to share them

Pros

  • Prospecting runs on LinkedIn's own network, which LinkedIn put at 800 million members in 2022
  • One incentivized G2 reviewer says it integrates with Lusha, ZoomInfo and Salesforce

Cons

  • Priced per license, so every rep who prospects needs a seat
  • anil g. also finds the price a bit high and says some advanced features have a learning curve

Pricing: Core starts at $119.99 a month per license, or $1,079.88 a year. Advanced starts at $159.99 a month, or $1,799.88 a year. Advanced Plus is custom.

Skip it if your reps need a number to dial today rather than a profile to message. Lusha returns emails and phones on a lookup.

5. ZoomInfo

G2 rating for ZoomInfo (GTM Workspace): 4.5/5, 9,198 reviews

A ZoomInfo contact card showing a work email, a phone number and company headcount A ZoomInfo contact card with a work email, a phone number and company headcount in one view.

ZoomInfo is a B2B database of companies and contacts that comes with buying-intent signals and website visitor tracking. You search by company, job title or signal, then spend a credit to export each contact's email and phone.

The database covers 500M contacts and 135M+ verified phone numbers, by ZoomInfo's own count. ZoomInfo returns work emails and mobiles, but in Outbound Kitchen's May 2026 test it had the lowest share of right-person mobiles of the ten providers: 53%, against 69% for RocketReach.

Emile L., a GTM lead, on its Websights visitor tracking: "They promised it would show user level data but rarely, if ever, actually does."

Best for: Enterprise teams that want firmographics, intent and contacts from a single vendor

Key features

  • Websights visitor tracking
  • GTM Studio waterfall across 25+ extra vendors, which ZoomInfo says is free for GTM Studio customers
  • MCP server included with every subscription

Pros

  • ZoomInfo says 300+ human researchers verify its data
  • Emile L. still calls its company and contact data as dependable as any they've seen

Cons

  • Lite, the free plan, gives 10 credits a month (25 with Community Edition), and each exported profile uses one
  • The MCP server draws on bulk credits only, not recurring monthly ones

Pricing: "Paid plans are not published at a fixed price," per ZoomInfo's pricing guide. Lite is free.

Skip it if you want a price before a sales call. Fullenrich publishes self serve plans from $29 a month, and our ZoomInfo competitors breakdown goes deeper on alternatives you can consider.

6. Cognism

G2 rating for Cognism: 4.5/5, 1,376 reviews

Cognism prospecting view with persona search and a contact card marked phone verified Cognism's prospecting view, built around persona search and a contact card marked as phone verified.

Cognism is a sales intelligence platform that sells contacts with mobile numbers it says are phone-verified, so a rep can reveal a mobile alongside the email.

Dinesh K., an SDR, praises its direct dials and verified mobiles on G2, but flags "the restriction on saving and downloading contacts in smaller batches, such as the 25-contact limit at a time."

Each credit reveals one contact, and Cognism lists emails, mobiles, job titles and work history among the data it returns. Through its Diamond data service, Cognism says its team will verify a mobile on request in under 48 hours, so ask whether a standard reveal includes that check.

Best for: Teams calling into Europe that want mobiles Cognism says are phone-verified

Key features

  • Emails, mobiles, job titles and work history per contact
  • Revealed records stay usable for the whole contract

Pros

  • Cognism says it has 10m+ phone-verified contacts globally
  • Cognism says reps connect with their ideal contact every 8 dials

Cons

  • Both plans include 5 seats, more than a solo founder needs
  • No free plan is listed on Cognism's site

Pricing: Quote only on the Cognism pricing page. One credit equals one revealed contact, charged again only if that person changes jobs.

Solo founders testing outbound can start on Apollo's free plan instead.

7. Clay

G2 rating for Clay: 4.6/5, 234 reviews

A Clay table of demo form submissions with enrichment and qualification columns A Clay table of demo form submissions, with enrichment and qualification columns next to a drafted reply.

Clay is a data enrichment spreadsheet where each column fetches one piece of data, like a work email or a company's headcount, from one of 150+ providers, by Clay's count. You use it to build your own lead lists and decide which provider is asked first.

Manzar I., a sales manager, likes the waterfall on G2, then warns about the bill: "If you run a large list with too many enrichment steps, credits can disappear quickly, so you really have to plan your tasks carefully and keep an eye on what you're running."

Clay can return an email and a mobile through its data partners, but only as far as you build, and every step you add also spends actions.

Best for: Teams with someone who wants to design and maintain their own prospecting workflows

Key features

  • Multi-provider waterfalls you order yourself
  • Two meters: data credits for data bought in Clay's marketplace, actions for each step you run
  • Bring-your-own API keys that skip data credits

Pros

  • Unlimited seats and tables, even on Free
  • One G2 reviewer uses it to fill data gaps, find the right contacts and add context that would otherwise take a significant amount of time across multiple tools

Cons

  • Extra credits cost a 30% premium
  • Phone enrichment isn't included on the Free plan

Pricing: Free includes 500 actions and 100 data credits a month. Launch starts at $167 a month and Growth at $446, per the Clay pricing page. Enterprise is custom.

Clay's Free, Launch, Growth and Enterprise plans with actions and data credits. Clay's plans meter two things: actions for the workflow and data credits for what you buy from its providers.

Nobody on your team wants to build and maintain tables? FullEnrich runs a managed waterfall without the setup. If you do run Clay, FullEnrich works as a column inside it, and this Clay job-signal template finds companies hiring SDRs, picks the sales leader and adds their email and phone.

8. Lusha

G2 rating for Lusha: 4.3/5, 1,670 reviews

Lusha enrichment card showing a contact before and after enrichment, with export to the CRM Lusha fills in a contact's title, company, email and phone, then exports the list to the CRM.

Lusha is a B2B contact database that reveals an email or phone number in one lookup, so a rep can get a contact without building a list first.

In an incentivized G2 review, founder Krupa S. compares it with Apollo: "In comparison, with Lusha we generally tend to get only a single email and a single number most of the time." So when that one number is wrong, there's often no backup to try.

Best for: SDRs who look up contacts one at a time while they prospect

Key features

  • Single reveals: email, phone or both
  • Waterfall that confirms an email or phone before charging
  • CSV enrichment for whole lists, and CSV export at 1 credit per 25 rows

Pros

  • Pushes changes straight into Salesforce or HubSpot, at 1 credit per changed row
  • Monthly plans let unused credits pile up to twice the plan limit

Cons

  • Bulk reveals charge for every selected contact, including partial matches
  • Annual plans wipe unused credits at the end of the year

Pricing: Free gives 40 credits a month on 1 seat. Starter is $37.45 a month, Pro $52.45 and Premium $299.95, all billed yearly, on the Lusha pricing page.

9. Hunter

G2 rating for Hunter: 4.4/5, 656 reviews

Hunter company search with filters and a panel of decision makers Hunter's company search with a panel of decision makers whose emails it can find.

Hunter is an email finder and verifier that turns a company domain, or a name and a company, into work emails you can send to.

Hunter documents emails only, so a rep who wants to call needs a second tool for the mobile.

Best for: Founders and marketers who email but rarely call

Key features

  • Domain Search for every known email at a company
  • Email Verifier at 0.5 credit per check
  • Bulk Domain Search: up to 10 emails per credit

Pros

  • Domain Search shows a confidence score next to each email, which one G2 reviewer says saves a lot of time
  • Repeat searches in the same billing period count once

Cons

  • Unused Hunter credits vanish at the end of each month
  • The same reviewer still hits occasional outdated addresses that need a manual check

Pricing: Free gives 50 credits a month. Starter is $34 a month billed yearly ($49 monthly) for 2,000 credits, Growth $104 ($149) for 10,000, and Scale $209 ($299) for 25,000, per the Hunter pricing page.

10. Leadfeeder (Dealfront)

G2 rating for Leadfeeder: 4.3/5, 869 reviews

Leadfeeder dashboard listing recently tracked companies that visited a website Leadfeeder's dashboard shows which companies visited your site, not which people.

Leadfeeder, now part of Dealfront, is a website visitor identification tool that shows which companies visit your site, which pages they view and how often they return, so marketing can spot accounts researching you.

Leadfeeder says it identifies up to 45% of B2B visitors at the company level, and that "Individual visitors are not shown by default." Verified emails and phones at those companies cost credits and start on the Activate plan, so your rep gets an account first and contacts as a paid second step.

In an incentivized G2 review, Mitchell B. asked to see who is on the site. Leadfeeder's reply: "Knowing 'who' exactly visited your site isn't possible without them 'self identifying', either by form or a chat such as the one we are on now."

Best for: B2B marketers, Europe included, who want to route visiting accounts to sales

Key features

  • Real-time alerts and CRM sync from Discover
  • API and MCP access
  • Verified work emails, job titles and direct dials on credits

Pros

  • Identifying companies never uses credits
  • Working at the company level is what Leadfeeder says keeps it GDPR-compliant

Cons

  • At large companies, you can't tell which team or decision-maker is browsing, as one G2 reviewer complains
  • Leadfeeder's standard credits are lost when the contract ends

Pricing: Lite is $0 with 7 days of history and the last 100 companies a month. Discover starts at $79 a month billed annually ($113 monthly), Activate at $369 ($527), and Scale at $599, billed annually only.

11. RB2B

G2 rating for RB2B: 4.5/5, 284 reviews

An RB2B Slack alert naming a repeat website visitor with title, company and LinkedIn profile An RB2B alert in Slack naming a repeat US visitor, with title, company and LinkedIn profile (demo data).

RB2B is a website visitor identification tool that names individual US visitors and posts them to Slack, so a rep sees the person behind a visit, not just the company.

Person-level matching only works in the US. Per the RB2B FAQ, its database holds profiles matched to US home addresses. The free plan sends companies only, Starter adds LinkedIn URLs without emails, and Pro adds business emails. Its pricing table lists 15-20% contact-level coverage on Starter and Pro, 35-45% on Pro+.

One r/b2bmarketing user who runs it describes the gap: "You'll need some other tools to get emails or phone numbers based on that contact." A LinkedIn URL from RB2B is a valid FullEnrich input.

Best for: US SaaS teams with steady American traffic

Key features

  • One script in your site header
  • Alerts to Slack, plus Teams, your CRM, Clay and 50+ other apps on Pro
  • Pay-as-you-go overage per resolved visitor

Pros

  • 7-day full-featured trial, no card
  • Company-level identification outside the US, through Demandbase

Cons

  • In one incentivized G2 review, RB2B found 3 LinkedIn profiles out of about 12 visitors, and one was wrong
  • Each resolution past the Starter limit costs 45¢

Pricing: Free is $0 for 150 resolutions a month. Starter is $79 a month, Pro $149 and Pro+ $199, on the RB2B pricing page. Extra resolutions cost 25¢ on Pro and Pro+.

12. Chili Piper

G2 rating for Chili Piper: 4.6/5, 736 reviews

Chili Piper's Concierge form router sending a form submission to a calendar booking Chili Piper's form router sends each submission to the right rep's calendar.

Chili Piper is a lead routing and meeting scheduling platform that qualifies a form fill or chat, routes it to the right rep and books the meeting, so inbound demand turns into calendar time.

Chili Piper holds no contact data of its own, so enrichment pre-fills fields from providers you connect, such as LeadIQ, Apollo, Lusha or ZoomInfo, per its help center. It routes on the email typed into the form, and the result is a booked meeting with a named person.

Best for: Inbound teams with real demo demand who lose meetings between the form and the calendar

Key features

  • Form and chat qualification that fires on submit
  • Routing to the right rep or team
  • Instant meeting booking

Pros

  • A spam filter keeps fake emails from reaching a demo booking, per a marketing director on G2
  • Account identification for anonymous visitors through 6sense, Bombora or Chili Piper credits

Cons

  • Annual billing only; Chili Piper says monthly billing isn't available
  • Routing & Scheduling alone comes to $15,000 a year

Pricing: Routing & Scheduling starts at $1,250 a month with up to 15 seats, then $45 per seat. Experiences starts at $3,500 a month with 30 seats. ChiliCal is $12 per user a month, with a 200-seat minimum. Multi-year contracts cut the price by up to 40%, per the Chili Piper pricing page.

Booking a handful of demos a week? HubSpot's conditional routing on Professional, or a plain scheduling link from a tool like Calendly, may be enough.

13. Intercom (Fin)

G2 rating for Intercom Fin: 4.5/5, 3,937 reviews

Intercom's Fin for Sales chat answering a prospect's question Fin for Sales answers a prospect's question in the chat widget and asks what they're looking for.

Intercom Fin is the AI chat agent in Intercom's support platform. Its Fin for Sales mode captures a visitor's email in chat, checks the prospect against your qualification criteria and routes them.

After capture, Fin enriches the lead with built-in web browsing, and deeper data comes from connectors to Salesforce or HubSpot. The rep inherits a named lead: the conversation, the email the visitor typed and whatever Fin found on the web.

Best for: Teams that want sales qualification to happen in the website widget

Key features

  • Lead capture and qualification inside the chat
  • Routing that matches prospects to your qualification criteria

Pros

  • 14-day free trial of Fin for Sales
  • Fin also runs on top of another helpdesk, with no Intercom seats required

14. Instantly

G2 rating for Instantly: 4.8/5, 4,161 reviews

Instantly Leads Finder with job title, location and industry filters Instantly's Leads Finder, where you filter its lead database by job title, location and industry.

Instantly is a cold email platform that sends sequences from many inboxes at once and finds work emails for the leads you load, from a database it puts at 450M+ B2B leads.

When a lead lacks an email, Instantly's waterfall draws on its own data and the 7 partner providers listed in its help center, such as Findymail, Prospeo and Wiza. It doesn't document phone numbers, so calls need another tool.

Its own 2026 cold email benchmark, vendor-run on 2025 sending data, puts the average reply rate at 3.43% and advises bounce rates below 2%.

Best for: Founders and agencies sending high volumes of cold email

  • Waterfall work-email enrichment across 7 partner providers
  • Verified emails at 1 credit from Instantly's data, 2 from most partners and 4 from ContactOut

Pros

  • Unlimited email accounts on the Growth plan
  • Lead verification is built in, at 0.25 credit per lead

Cons

  • One incentivized G2 reviewer found part of a lead list came from another source, with the industry field not normalized
  • Growth caps you at 1,000 uploaded contacts and 5,000 emails a month

Pricing: Growth Credits is $47 a month for 1,500 credits, and the Growth outreach plan is $47 a month. The bundle of both is $94 a month, per the Instantly pricing page.

lemlist is a multichannel sales engagement platform that runs email and LinkedIn steps in one sequence and finds lead data inside the same tool, from a database lemlist puts at 650M+ leads.

Scaling LinkedIn automation is where the cost shows up, says Arnaud G., a CEO, on G2: "LinkedIn automation is powerful but rightly capped, so scaling that channel means adding seats, and cost climbs fast once you're past a couple of senders."

Its enrichment add-on draws on "top 25+ providers," per lemlist, with logos such as Cognism and Lusha on its pricing page. Phones come from that add-on, so a team that wants mobiles has to size the add-on for its list.

Best for: SDR teams that want one tool for both finding and contacting leads

Key features

  • LinkedIn automation as a step inside sequences
  • Data add-on with 2,000 monthly credits
  • 200 free trial credits to find emails and phone numbers

Pros

  • The data add-on charges only for successful results
  • A VP of marketing on G2 calls the email-only pricing "very competitive"

Cons

  • A phone uses four times the add-on credits of an email (20 versus 5)
  • Lead data isn't in the Email or Multichannel plan; it's a separate monthly add-on

Pricing: Email is $55 a month and Multichannel $87 a month on yearly billing ($69 and $109 monthly). The data add-on is $16 a month yearly, $20 monthly, per the lemlist pricing page.

How do you choose the right lead generation tools for your team?

Choose by where your leads arrive and where they stop, then pick one tool that brings in leads the way you sell, plus one that finds each lead's email and mobile. This list is B2B only; B2C teams need ads, referral and landing-page tools instead.

Inbound or outbound comes first. In Kyle Poyar and Maja Voje's 2026 State of B2B GTM report, covering 300 B2B SaaS and AI companies, 26% named founder-led sales as their primary motion, ahead of inbound (19%) and outbound (18%). No single motion tops 26%, so plan for a mix.

Budget follows. Paid entry points run from $7 a seat for HubSpot Starter to $1,250 a month for Chili Piper's Routing & Scheduling, and most tools here start with a free plan or trial. Tools left off this list, such as UpLead, Seamless, Outreach or Salesloft, follow the same logic, so check what they hand your rep.

Turn the leads you already have into people you can reach

Every tool on this list does a real job. The question is where your leads stop today.

  • If you're a founder, your list exists. It needs emails and mobiles that work.
  • If you run SDRs, your database exists. It needs a check before reps dial.
  • If marketing owns the pipeline, your forms and visits exist. They need a person behind each one.
  • Workflow builders already have the tables and need a contact column nobody has to maintain.

FullEnrich is that last step. It turns names, emails and LinkedIn URLs from any tool above into verified emails and mobiles, and you pay only for what passes verification. Start with 50 free credits, no card.

FAQ

What is a lead generation tool?

A lead generation tool is software that finds, attracts or captures potential buyers. In B2B, that covers forms and CRMs, chat, website visitor identification, contact databases, enrichment and cold email tools. They differ most in what they hand over: an account, a name, an email, or an email and mobile your rep can call.

What is the best lead generation tool?

FullEnrich is the best pick for verified emails and mobiles on leads you already have, Apollo for an all-in-one outbound start and HubSpot for inbound forms and CRM. Add visitor identification like Leadfeeder or RB2B only if you have the traffic.

What are AI lead generation tools?

AI lead generation tools use AI agents or assistants to find, qualify or enrich leads. Intercom's Fin qualifies website visitors in chat, with outcomes from $0.99 and $9.99 for a qualified lead. MCP servers from Apollo, ZoomInfo and FullEnrich let assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT search and enrich contacts inside a chat. On its own, though, ChatGPT "cannot find or verify contact data," according to Clay, a data vendor.

Can ChatGPT generate leads?

Not on its own, but FullEnrich's MCP server lets Claude or ChatGPT search people, enrich a list and return verified emails and mobiles inside a chat.

Yes, but cold outreach has rules. In the US, the FTC's CAN-SPAM guide says the law "makes no exception for business-to-business email," and opt-outs must be honored within 10 business days. In the UK, the ICO lets you email companies, but individuals and sole traders need specific consent. GDPR and CCPA add data rights on top. This isn't legal advice.

How much should you pay for lead generation?

Plan on about $0.20 to $1.50 per contact for an email and a mobile at list price, across Apollo, FullEnrich and Lusha at 200 to 1,500 contacts a month; Hunter is cheaper but returns emails only. For leads themselves, First Page Sage puts the average blended cost per lead at $400 across 30 industries, and $249 for B2B SaaS. WordStream's 2026 benchmarks put US paid search at $66.69 per lead, with an average conversion rate of 8.18%.

What's the difference between lead generation and lead enrichment tools?

Lead generation tools create or capture leads: forms, chat, visitor identification, databases. Lead enrichment tools complete the leads you already have with a verified email, mobile, title or company.

Are there free lead generation tools?

Yes. HubSpot, Apollo, Hunter, Lusha, Clay, Leadfeeder, RB2B and ZoomInfo all have free plans, and FullEnrich's free trial gives 50 credits with no card.

Does FullEnrich generate leads?

Partly. FullEnrich Search builds new prospect lists from filters like job title, industry, location and headcount, and enrichment makes those leads reachable. It doesn't identify website visitors, capture form fills or send emails, so pair it with a capture tool for inbound and a sequencer for outbound.
